Welcome to our community website!

WE WELCOME YOUlwqiAwwPP82XDTLC.jpg
TO JOIN US IN THE SALVATION OF JESUS

Take a quick look! This is Bethany Lutheran Church, but in this snapshot, we won’t all be in the same place at the same time. That’s because Bethany Lutheran Church is not an address on Noe Bixby Road with a GPS latitude and longitude, but people. More specifically, redeemed people in Jesus Christ. These are people on the move who don’t merely go through life, but have life going through them.

It’s the life of Jesus. So on any Monday morning if the question comes up of the location of Bethany, we’d have to answer, “Well, some are in hospitals, some in school buildings, some are in the military, some are working in construction, some caring for grandchildren, some are flying planes and some are just sleeping in. Yeah, we do that too.” The church of Jesus Christ is not a monument, but a movement.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28: 18-20”
